Ben Romans

Ben Romans is a passionate hunter and angler living in Boise, Idaho, with his wife and two young boys. During the workweek he contributes to titles like Outdoor Life and Field & Stream. When he’s not working, he’s tying flies, catching smallmouth bass, hunting for elk and mule deer in the high country, or planning his next big DIY adventure. Ask him about the time he grabbed a black bear by the ankle, or when he accepted a bet to eat 50 eggs in an hour à la Cool Hand Luke. Spoiler alert: he only made it to 40.
